Now, fans of the Yakuza series may already have an inkling of how to repair weapons in Yakuza Kiwami 2. There’s just one shop in the game that’ll let you repair weapons, and it’s called Kamiyama Works. It’s a name that’s appeared in many other entries in the series, and in Yakuza Kiwami 2, he’s back again to help you with all of your weaponry repair needs.
After you’ve played through the first couple of chapters of Yakuza Kiwami 2, you should come across a substory called “A Pervy Peddler” down Tenkaichi Alley. We suggest unlocking the Substory Finder ability in Life Skills so you can pick up this substory and others more easily, as they’re highlighted with a white speech bubble.
Head down the alley and you’ll eventually see Kamiyama being attacked by a group of thugs. No surprise, then, that it’s down to Kiryu to beat the thugs up and save Kamiyama from a whole world of pain.
By beating up the thugs, you’ll complete the substory, and Kamiyama will be grateful to you and open up his shop to you in Yakuza Kiwami 2. You’ll be able to purchase new weapons, DVDs, and of course, repair any broken or used up weapons you’ve got in Yakuza Kiwami 2.
