As the Mario franchise has continued to evolve with multiple mainline entries and lots of spinoffs, the cast of colorful characters has only grown and grown. Mario might be the main character, but that doesn’t always mean he is the most exciting or everyone’s favorite.
Many Mario characters have even gone off to spawn their franchises like Luigi in Luigi’s Mansion, Wario in Wario Land and WarioWare, and Yoshi in Yoshi’s Island & Crafted World. We’re just waiting for Waluigi to get a game of his own.
