How to Fast Travel in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is packed with Crypts, Tombs, side quests, and secret areas off the beaten path, and several of those areas you’ll find inaccessible upon first discovery, forcing you to return when you’ve got the right equipment to unlock them.Don’t worry though, fast travel is an option for those that can’t take the back and forth. While the feature is definitely one you’ll be using frequently throughout your adventure, it’s not immediately obvious how to go about actually using fast travel. That’s because you won’t have access to it until a few hours into the game, once you’re well into the Peruvian jungle. Fast travel is accessed via the base camp menu.
It’s one of the three options when you first interact with base camp, alongside Inventory and Skills. It’s the last of those to unlock. Once you have access to it, simply select Fast Travel and then choose a base camp to fast travel to. It’s a handy feature when you’re wanting to return to areas to tick off objectives that weren’t previously available.
