As alluded to above, the main reason for collecting Jueyun Chili is to Ascend Xiangling. To continue leveling beyond 20, each character requires a combination of different items and Ascension materials.
Since Xiangling is such an enthusiastic cook, it comes as little surprise her Ascension requires an exotic ingredient. In order to find Jueyun Chilis you’ll need to head out into the wilderness of the southern portion of Tevyat, know as Liyue. You should remember this is where you first quested with Xiangling as part of the game’s main storyline, which tasked you with finding various ingredients (pictured above).
In terms of specific locations, head Qinqce Village and check out some the terraced fields. You should find plenty scattered around, as you can see in the above image. Good thing, too, because you’re going to need a lot of chilis to ascend Xiangling to her highest levels.
