So you’ve got Fallout 4’s Wasteland Workshop DLC and you’ve captured your first creature, but you’ve noticed that whatever beast you had inside has ruined your cage and you can no longer use it. Fear not, you can actually repair your cage so you don’t have to waste valuable resources building another one.
What you want to do is enter the crafting mode in your settlement. Head over to the cage that you want to repair. You’ll then want to highlight the cage and use the option that should appear at the bottom of the screen to repair it. The bad news is that repairing a cage still requires some resources, including the bait. The good news is that the number of crafting materials you’ll need to repair a cage is far less than what you had to use to build it in the first place.
Simply confirm that you want to repair the cage and voila! You can now reuse the cage to catch another creature. Now all you need to do is grab another and have them face off against one another to provide some entertainment for your settlement.
