Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies You Can Get so Far

Platinum trophies are great. You love them. I love them. We all love them. They’re often considered a badge of honor. A sign that you’ve thoroughly enjoyed a game, or at the very least, seen everything the game has to offer. Of course, not all platinum trophies were created equal. While some put our skills to the test, others are a walk in the park to obtain in comparison. So, with Sony’s latest console having been out for around 6 months now, we’re taking a look at the easiest PS5 platinum trophies you can get so far.

We’ll be updating this post as and when more easy PS5 platinum trophies pop-up, so be sure to keep checking back soon for more titles to add to your shortlist.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

While it might not be a platinum you can get in the space of just a few hours, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart earns its spot on our list for not just an easy trophy list, but for being an absolute blast to play even after you’ve rolled up the credits.

From our time with the game, we were able to get all of the trophies in a playthrough and a couple of hours at the very most in the ‘Challenge Mode’ (Rift Apart’s New Game Plus).

The trophies likely to cause you the most trouble are Shifty Character which requires you to hit every Blizon Crystal in two levels (it can be a pain to find which ones you’ve missed if you need to come back to it), and Return Policy which requires you kill 10 enemies by returning shots with the Void Reactor weapon.

While Return Policy may not sound that tricky, it’s more of a pain purely because of how the weapon works. If you’ve upgraded it, too, this makes it even more difficult to defeat an enemy with returning shots, and not the shield’s blast radius.

Outside of that, Rift Apart’s platinum trophy is a bit of a cake walk, especially if you use a trophy guide to polish off any straddlers and collectibles. It’s also a must-buy PS5 game right now, so go pick it up already!

Bugsnax

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

Bugsnax may look all cute and cuddly to begin with, but it doesn’t take long before its sinister side rears its head and puts your happy-go-lucky adventure on hold. It’s a short but sweet, casual-friendly game that we’d recommend checking out regardless of whether you go for the platinum trophy or not.

Taking approximately 15 hours to platinum, Bugsnax’s trophy list largely comprises of completing the story and then hunting the remaining Snax out of the 100 unique species in the game.

With the use of a trophy guide, polishing off these Snax becomes far easier, though part of the challenge in the game is figuring out how to use your various items and equipment to catch each of the species.

There are some legendary Bugsnax that require a little more effort and have their own gold trophy ‘Bossy Bugs’ for defeating them all.

Outside of that, Bugsnax is an absolute blast and a ton of fun grinding out the Platinum trophy. Get a podcast on and catch ’em all. Wait… wrong game.

Astro’s Playroom

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

If there’s a PS5 platinum trophy every owner of Sony’s newest system should have, it’s Astro’s Playroom. The game is essentially a free tech demo for the console, where players guide cute lil’ Astro through various platforming levels which show off the DualSense’s adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and other features.

Taking about 5 hours max to get the platinum, Astro’s Playroom’s trophy list is largely focused on beating each of the levels, grabbing all of the collectibles from each level, and doing some fun little activities around the main hub world such as punching the PS logo on the PS2, or punching and looking into the lens of PS VR.

Astro’s Playroom is a celebration of PlayStation’s history and heritage, and that makes grabbing its platinum trophy feel all the more important. It’s also just generally great fun to play which always helps when it comes to grinding out those last few trophies.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

After the smash-hit success that was 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, Insomniac Games got busy working on Spider-Man: Miles Morales. A standalone expansion, the game sees us following the adventures of Miles Morales as he gets to grips with becoming Spider-Man as he fills in for Peter Parker while he goes jetting off to France with Mary Jane.

Miles Morales’ trophy list will feel very familiar for anyone who played the original game, as it’s mostly story and collectible-related. Any missed collectibles can be mopped up after beating the story and are shown on your map which makes this nice and easy.

After that, it’s a case of hopping into New Game + and unlocking all skills and purchasing all suits. Using a trophy guide will help you to make light work of Miles Morale’s trophy list, and before you know it you’ll have another easy PS5 platinum trophy in the space of 15 hours.

Maneater

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

Who doesn’t wanna play as a big ol’ apex predator of the oceans? Nobody, that’s who! And now you can in Maneater, allowing you to customize and evolve your formidable finned creature until it becomes the biggest and baddest that ever did it underwater.

The story largely follows your growth from being a baby shark (doo, doo, doo, doo, doo) right through to Mega growth where you’ll dwarf all other inhabitants of the deep blue.

When it comes to trophies, the 33 largely focus on you progressing through the story. Once this has been taken care of, you can then use your Sonar ability to collect all of the license plates and caches, and 100% each area’s objectives. The whole thing takes about 10-15 hours to beat, and there aren’t any missable trophies making it even easier to nab them all.

Freddy Spaghetti

Easiest PS5 Platinum Trophies

Freddy Spaghetti isn’t the kind of game you’re going to pick up for any reason but to nab yourself an easy PS5 platinum trophy.

Published on consoles by Ratalaika Games — known for their easy trophy lists — Freddy Spaghetti sees you following the adventures of Freddy, a conscious piece of spaghetti… a normal premise for a game, obviously!

You’ll guide said spaghetti through 50 normal levels, earning a trophy for every one you complete. After beating all 50 of the main levels, you’ll need to beat 5 bonus levels and you’ll grab the remaining five trophies you need for the platinum.

It’s really that simple, and given how basic the actual gameplay is, this should take you no longer than an hour to beat.
