Is Dragon Quest Builders 2 PS4 Pro Enhanced? Answered
We’ll cut right to the chase, unfortunately, Dragon Quest Builders 2 doesn’t have any PS4 Pro enhancements. There’s no noticeable difference whether you’re playing the game on the standard PS4 or the Pro.
It’s likely that Square Enix chose to spend their time making the game run the same across all systems, since Builders 2 is also on Switch, instead of investing extra time on PS4 adding in Pro features.
For reference, 2018’s Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age did have PS4 Pro features, but they were mostly focused on bumping up the resolution.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that Builders 2 will never get PS4 Pro enhancements, as oftentimes games do get the feature later down the road. Just keep in mind that at the moment there are currently no plans to implement any kind of PS4 Pro features.
