Thankfully, there’s one sure fire place that you’ll find cotton in the game. What you’re looking for is a particular plant that you need to break down.
The plant in question is quite easy to spot and looks like a faintly green vine growing out of the ground and ending in a swirl. Once you’ve grabbed some, you’ll get one or two cotton from each one you pick when you break it down.
Where to Find Cotton in Dragon Quest Builders 2
To actually get Cotton, though, we’d recommend heading to the Khrumbul-Dun Mine in Dragon Quest Builders 2’s world. Specifically, at the underground lake portion of it. Here, you’ll find several dozen flowers that are perfect for picking and breaking down into cotton.
There are likely other places you’ll find some, but this is the most reliable place we’ve found and there’s plenty of the material there for you to collect and use as you need.
