To garner more support for Overwatch esports, Blizzard has introduced new ways for players to get special Contenders skins in Overwatch alongside the Contenders tournament series. Overwatch Contenders has been running its first regular season from Aug. 3 to Sep. 14, with the playoffs concluding this month on Oct 12.
