Explore the Wild Area One of the best places to explore in Pokemon Sword and Shield is the Wild Area. The Wild Area is the open world section of the game that you can visit throughout your journey. There are a lot of fun things you can do in the Wild area, such as participate in Max Raid Battles and catch rare Pokemon.
